The diaphragm features a multi-layered composite structure: The first layer consists of an acid-resistant Teflon diaphragm; the second layer of elastic EPDM rubber; the third layer of a 3.0 mm thick SUS304 stainless steel support core; the fourth layer of reinforced nylon fibers; the fifth layer is completely encased in elastic EPDM rubber, which significantly increases the diaphragm’s service life.
